Optimisation of your HVAC system could reduce your carbon emissions and operational costs.

The basic aims are twofold; try and match the system you have to demands of the building and try and increase the efficiency of the systems you have.

On the day your HVAC system was commissioned it may well have been operating according to the designers intention (or perhaps not!). But, over time a number of factors will effect the performance and operation of the system and how well is matches the needs of the building. Normal wear and tear will play a part but perhaps there have been changes to the building's layout, perhaps a change of use or maybe maintenance regimes have changed.

By accurately estimating the building loads, maybe through thermal modelling , we can set the targets for the system to achieve and find ways to ensure they match the requirements. We can also look at ways to improve the efficiency of the HVAC system components to make further savings.
